This week's guest is Lynden Fritzcharles @bahamassun
Why are you a wine geek?
Well I fell in love with wine after tasting a few very different wines from the same producer - I was shocked - How could this one guy make wines that taste so different from all the others he produces. At that point I had to try them all, and I did. Now I have a huge curiosity for wines from different vintages, terroirs, producers, and the whole lot...
.
Extraterrestrials just landed on earth. What wine do you pour them?
Côtes du Rhône - because I’d really like to
Show them that there’s no place like Rhône!
.
What's your favorite scent you have ever smelled in a wine?
I remember one time tasting a big cult Napa wine and telling my friends it smelled like goji berries- I haven’t had a wine like it again.
.
Any favorite music or podcasts you like to listen to while you drink wine?
I listen to Nancy Wilson, Anthology album on repeat... but after a few bottles I’ll switch to Fleetwood Mac.

If you could visit any wine region in the world right now what would it be and why?
Aÿ, because it’s the one place I won’t run out of champagne in.
.
What do you think is the most exciting thing going on in the world of wine right now?
Oh I love how the wine world is progressing right now with inclusiveness, diversity, and access to training.

What would you like to see in the future of wine?
I would love to see more people drink wines that are not mainstream, grapes that are not Cabs or Merlots ... it’s such a big world out there filled with wines.
What advice would you give yourself looking back to when you first became interested in wine?
Travel, and drink as much wine as you can experiment with vintages and regions but most importantly try new grapes! Get away from the mainstream bottles!
Who are some people that inspire you in the world of wine?
Oh so many people, across Instagram and clubhouse, but one person I know I can talk wine with all day is Adrianne Brown. @exquisitewoman
Anything in the works you'd like to mention or promote?
I’m always tasting so follow me on Instagram @bahamassun
